At Gramma Zoo it all started because of some little people....they call me gramma! What fun to be able to have living creatures for the kids to learn to know and realize that there is responsibility in caring for them.
From the hen house just as an egg to the incubator, the hatching process....then fluffy little chicks of all colors-the wonder and awe of it is incredible for little people to experience.

Learning about critters from baby to adult. Big, little and in between! The wonder on little faces in seeing the beauty in a creature is a huge reward for the chores done all year long!

We love to share the animal experience with our grandkids, which has resulted in them wanting to share this with others. So we have the Discover the Farm program that we do in April with the Swift Current Ag and Ex. This allows students to come and learn about where their food comes from and learn about farm safety. Also have a critter sale on the Saturday following the school program.
